Lisathedaddy, Counsel's Opinion and Uig are three against the field in a competitive finale and the vote is given to Counsel's Opinion. The selection has dropped to a handy mark and is also eased in grade. He has conditions that suit today and he stands out as a value bet. Lisathedaddy rates the main danger on her latest fourth behind Fongs Gazelle but she has had plenty of chances in similar races without taking one and is becoming expensive to follow. Uig won well last time when beating Central Force and as that horse has won since she has definite place claims. Gaelic Princess was ninth in a better race behind Middlemarch last time and could go well at a price but this hold-up performer will need plenty of luck in running. Of the others, Willhego may need the run after a 554-day break, and for the winner we will return to Counsel's Opinion who looks to have solid claims.
