Verdict
Bryano De Bergerac looked to be returning to his early season form when fading close home behind Summerson at Goodwood four days ago. He holds the useful Strathclyde on their running at York and is the TEAMtalk selection. Jayanjay is one to consider due to his admirable consistency over both five and six furlongs. Suited by any ground, this stiff five here will suit him well and should push the selection all the way. The five-timer seeking Esatto has obvious claims and although possibly in the handicappers grip he may still be on the upgrade. Blue Knight put in his season-best effort at Goodwood late last month and this minimum trip could be to his liking. White Ledger would have claims on his mid-season efforts but is well held by the former on that Goodwood run. Both Bella Chica and Kelsey Rose are returning to this trip after being campaigned over further all season. Both are capable but this smacks of desperation. Three Days In May looks to have an each-way chance with a top lightweight booked after running well for an apprentice the last twice.
