Verdict

Corporate Player gets the vote here ahead of Graphic Approach, El Vaquero and God's Token. The selection showed that he was going the right way when winning at Wincanton last time. He's a very interesting prospect and can keep on improving. Graphic Approach's bid for a three-timer came unstuck by virtue of a fall last time but remains of interest in this race. El Vaquero's third behind Bold Bishop last time reads very well so he's entitled to go well, while God's Token won his bumper and finished a good second over course and distance on his hurdling debut last time out, so he too warrants respect. These look to be the principals. Of the others, Big Rob ran with promise on his bumper debut, Isam du Buarde looked very promising two years ago but is returning from injury, Spike Jones won a Ludlow bumper but showed little on his hurdling debut last time, while Nicky Henderson's Star Prize showed plenty of promise on his bumper debut, although the winner of that race has been beaten since. Overall, though, we'll side with the well-regarded Corporate Player.
