In depth

Verdict

Bullace has never stopped improving since second over 7f here on his debut in September. Nando Parrado was a shock winner of the Coventry Stakes last summer but showed that run was no fluke by placing twice at the highest level in France in the autumn and he was a good fourth in the Greenham on his reappearance. Highland Avenue won the Fielden Stakes at Newmarket last month so carries a small penalty but he has entries in both the St James’s Palace Stakes and the Coral-Eclipse so is held in high regard. MOSTAHDAF has a similar high-profile campaign planned even though he’s yet to race on Turf. He’s looked a smart prospect in his two runs to date and his yard has won the last two running of this, though also have impressive Newbury winner Mithras entered.
