Verdict

Wind Your Neck In is the only one out of form this season, so much depends on his reaction to a gelding operation, whilst Cosmic Desert has made the front four on all five career starts but just might need to still come down a pound or two in the weights. Maytree Respite is progressing steadily and stuck on resolutely to land the spoils at Newbury recently over this trip and ground. He should go well again off his 3lb higher mark but the concession of 7lb to DAL MALLART might prove too much of a challenge. Alan King's filly impressed with the style of her Haydock victory when last seen and is taken to follow up, although the handicapper has not cut her much slack courtesy of a 9lb rise. Frantanck cannot be ruled out on handicap bow either with a step-up in trip expected to elicit further improvement.
