Verdict

Hodler has been beaten over track and trip on a couple of occasions since scoring at Goodwood while Crystal Casque never threatened the winner when runner-up over a mile here last time. Beauty Choice has been in the mix off similar marks looking to end a long losing run but STATE SECRETARY is preferred. The latter is back on a winning mark and after a better effort at Yarmouth last week, Stuart Williams’ charge should make a bold bid.
