Verdict

SAVVY KNIGHT may have lost his unbeaten record in a heritage handicap at Ascot but he still finished strongly in fourth when giving the impression this extra distance would suit. Sean Woods’ progressive charge can confirm latest running with Franz Strauss and return to winning ways. Australian Angel represents last year’s winning yard but this is a big step up in class after placing at Newbury.
