    Verdict

The veteran of the field Cape Royal can land his first victory of the season here despite the fact that Milton Bradley's team continue to struggle. Over a stone lower than his last winning mark, this trail blazer has the perfect pitch in stall ten to apply his front running style. Make My Dream carries the mandatory 6lb penalty for a Windsor victory last week. It was a good performance considering the fact he had to race down the centre of the track but this track does post a different challenge. If the fitness of Tubby Isaacs can be taken on trust he has a leading chance. The winner of a Wolverhampton all-weather maiden, this fast five furlongs will provide a different test but on a form-line with Realt Na Mara, Hughie Morrison's charge faces a stiff task on the weights as he now concedes 12lb to Peter Makin's charge as opposed to the 1lb when beating Tubby Isaacs by a short-head at Kempton in October. Thoughtsofstardom was far from disgraced in a Newmarket conditions event on Friday night and does go particularly well for his capable apprentice. Rocker is attractively weighted on his old form but does not put it all in at times while at the foot of the weights Billy Red is 3lb lower than his last winning mark, that victory being achieved over course and distance last summer. Cape Royal is given the vote to land this sprint handicap.
