Third Kingdom’s third at Newcastle has worked out well with the winner going on to finish sixth in the Coventry Stakes and the runner-up scoring next time. Even the fourth has placed twice since and John Gosden’s colt will be fancied to open his account here, though this could be an above-average maiden. HAFEZ was a 400,000gns yearling and is related to a smart winner in the States so could prove the pick of the Hannon trio and he gets the vote. The Siyouni colt Thunder Sun cost an initial 450,000gns and is a stoutly-bred half-brother to several winners while One Ruler is by Dubawi out of a Group 2 winner in France so worth a market check and Stigwood is one to note for future reference. Flyin' High is from the same family as the brilliant Izzi Top and Forest Falcon can only improve on his run at Haydock.
