      Verdict

Derdas showed ability last year and probably improved again on his reappearance at Haydock, despite another defeat. American Entente did nothing wrong when third at Salisbury and will know more today, though gives the impression she’ll be suited by stepping up a furlong. Starshiba was very green when fifth at Kempton but the Kingman newcomer Ajyaall sports headgear on debut. SHOULDERING was a real eye-catcher at Haydock, despite blowing the start. She will be more the finished article here and could represent some value against maidens from more well-known yards.
