        Verdict

        Only one winning favourite in the last 10 years. Spring Offensive is likely to prove popular after finishing second at Musselburgh on his comeback and Mukhayyam ended last season competing in Group 3 company though is 17lb higher than his earlier success in a handicap at Thirsk. But Dane O'Neill still prefers the latter to Shaakis and the maiden winner Mutarakez while Purple Rock is another maiden winner handicapping for the first time on his return to action. YEENAAN makes most appeal with Ryan Moore taking over the reins and improvement expected after Marco Botti's colt finished a length behind the progressive Maftoon on last month's reappearance at Chelmsford.
