Verdict

Ryan Moore's presence on board LUCANIN would normally be an indicator that he's the pick of Sir Michael Stoute's three entries but Paul Hanagan rides Mawaqeet, who showed promise at Haydock and Newmarket in October, for retainer Hamdan Al Maktoum and Frankie has been booked for the Khalid Abdulla-owned debutant Minority Interest, who is a half-brother to Group 1 winner Proportional. We'll stick with Moore's mount, however, who looked a decent prospect when second to Forest Row at Newbury and may well have won had he not met trouble in-running. Trade Commissioner was third on the Polytrack in March and should improve while Semeen, Take The Stage and Carmen's Concerto are other newcomers worth noting.
