Verdict
Almutasader looks a typical John Dunlop improver and is taken to complete a quick hat-trick with Sahnour and Tomina rated the main dangers. The selection has won handicaps at Leicester and Ripon in his last two starts and, although he has been raised another 5lbs for his latest success, there should be improvement to come for the longer trip today. Sahnour is a consistent performer but, judged by his last time out third at Lingfield, Mick Channon's colt may now be in the grip of the handicapper. A bigger threat then may come from Tomina, who is less exposed than most of these, particularly over this trip, and who comes from a stable in form right now. Snow's Ride and Dancinginthestreet are others worthy of a mention, while a market move for Skelligs Rock would be of interest but Almutasader is the one to be on.
