Verdict

BUSHCRAFT made a promising start on this track so it was no surprise he started odds-on at Southwell where he had no problems getting off the mark. He's been handed a rating of 80, which looks a bit harsh for a Fibresand winner, but there's more to come and he can defy the burden. Sefaat was expected to score at Beverley after some decent efforts in much better company but found Tweety Pie too strong. That didn't look the best of races so Bath winner Captain Ryan looks more of a threat providing the ground remains fast. Outback Lover is tried in blinkers but hasn't progressed after her victory at Wolverhampton in March.
