Verdict
Listed winner Kuwait Currency comes in to the race as the highest rated just ahead of Prince Eiji though neither are entered in the Derby and several of these are expected to take a step forward. John Gosden’s yard bids to win this for a third time in succession though Travel On beat little to land the odds at Lingfield and drops back down in trip while stablemate Alfaatik made a winning start at Chelmsford in December and gets first-time headgear on his return. Technician won nicely over 1m4f at Leicester recently and is preferred to Persian Moon but BANGKOK makes most appeal. Andrew Balding’s colt beat subsequent impressive winner and Dante entry Telecaster over today’s trip at Doncaster on his reappearance with the rest nowhere and gets the vote on the strength of that form.
