    Verdict

LA PELOSA was only beaten a neck in the Albany Stakes at Ascot and was then badly hampered when favourite for the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket earlier this month. She also looked a little one-paced that day so the extra furlong should suit and Charlie Appleby’s filly can take advantage of this drop in grade. Octave has won at Lingfield and Pontefract this year but looks well held on that Ascot run and is also trying 7f for the first time. Ajrar won easily at Lingfield on debut eight days ago but this is a big step up. Koduro won over the trip at Carlisle but Look Around may be more interesting and can reverse Doncaster running with the former. She was still very green when scoring at Kempton and is by up-and-coming sire Kingman.
