      Verdict

      SEXY BEAST has improved since tackling this sort of trip. He finished half-a-length ahead of Ghostwatch on the same terms when third last time at Haydock and there seems no obvious reason why that form should be reversed today. Ghostwatch appears to have the beating of Newmarket winner Mt Augustus and Mt Augustus over track and trip[ last month but it would be no surprise to see King's Proctor bounce hack to form as the Johnston colt has faced some very stiff tasks this year, though still looks a few pounds too high.
