Verdict
Flagship Uberalles has enjoyed a deliberately light campaign and holds all his rivals on what he has achieved this season. He displayed sterling qualities to battle his way to victory in the Champion Chase at the Festival and if the predicted rains arrive, his claims can only be enhanced. Fadalko returned back to form at Cheltenham last time and could pose the biggest threat after that confidence booster. The elements have conspired against Edredon Bleu since his fourth successive victory in the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon but he will also capitalise if Flagship Uberalles has gone off the boil. Cenkos and Castle Prince will play their parts but, barring accidents, can only realistically hope for a clear round
