Verdict
Gifted Angel was well supported for his nursery debut over 6f at Pontefract but had no answer to Alif Power. BOOM BOOM POW was less than a length behind the in-form California Gem over this trip at Ripon before getting outpaced over 6f at Chester. This much stiffer track should play to her strengths and she can get off the mark. Safari Dream was beaten only a neck on his debut here and took his chance in the Super Sprint where he missed the break and never got involved. Armour Propre also ran in that lucrative Newbury event after beaten just a head at Carlisle while Byefornow made a winning debut at Bath before a moderate effort at Lingfield.
