Royal Intruder is taken to score in this opener with Perfect Flight and Whispering Desert the others to consider. The selection won his maiden in mightly impressive fashion over this course and distance and although he has had his problems in the past, he now looks one to stay on the right side of. Perfect Flight has ground conditions to suit and she won well last time. She is open to further improvement and is respected as a live danger to our pick. Whispering Desert won at Carlisle last time but she is not the most straightforward and she could be vulnerable today under her penalty. Thunder Bay has had plenty of chances and looks worth taking on, and we will return to Royal Intruder who stands out as the one to beat.
