Verdict
Not a bad nursery to commence proceedings, if not a red hot one, and Thompsons Walls looks to have the edge over Artsu, Ramatni and Only A Game. Thompsons Walls drops back in trip after tackling 7f at Redcar last time and and that should suit. Winner of a Newcastle maiden earlier in the month, she was still running green that day and now with more experience and back at the same trip she looks to have a decent chance from this fair mark. Artsu won a Yarmouth maiden in June and was not far away in a nursery at Newmarket last time, though he seems to a little more effective with cut in the ground. Ramatni has not yet broken her duck. She handles most ground though her level of form thus far suggests that she may need a drop in the weights to win. Only A Game has a 100 per cent record from two starts so far and improved for the step up to this trip last time. The yard is going well at present and further improvement is likely, so he should take a close hand in proceeedings, though Thompsons Wells is preferred.
