    Verdict

A poor middle distance handicap where Fenners may prove good enough to score, while Princely Ted looks sure to go well and Fadansil will be competitive from a lowly mark. Fenners has slipped back to a rating just 2lb above his last win, which was at Newcastle over 12f in May. He showed signs of a return to form last time and this trip should suit better, so with that further drop he can take his opportunity. Princely Ted has been going well just lately and will be many people's idea of the winner, though this sort of trip looks as though it is beyond his stamina capabilities, so he is opposed. Fadansil enjoyed the return to 10f at Beverley last time and he should be capable of getting this extra furlong, so with a nice racing weight he can be involved. Speagle and Rajam look best of a moderate remainder and we will side with Fenners.
