        Verdict

        Wotadoll has gone close the last twice but would have been more interesting here had she been better drawn. Only 4lb higher, Shamshon has every chance of following up a recent victory at Newmarket. Nibras Again and Powerful Dream are other recent winners with decent claims but Wolverhampton scorer Peggie Sue steps up a grade and drops down a furlong. GREY GALLEON won over 6f at Goodwood last time but has won over this shorter trip and this is a stiff track. Amelia Glass again takes off 7lb and, racing off the same mark, Clive Cox’ grey can record a third career victory. On A Roll has gone up 5lb since a narrow defeat at Doncaster and may have to settle for a place again.
