Verdict
SWEET REWARD (NAP) was placed over track and trip before scoring in soft going at Newbury with plenty to spare and Jonathan Portman’s charge can defy a rise in the weights with more to come. Both Cuttin' Edge and Harlow ran well here on their respective latest starts with the latter preferred while Voice Of Calm returns to her winning distance and makes more appeal than Tiger Zone, a runner-up in Class 6 company at Bath last time. Alborkan and Sacre Bleu are lightly-raced and the latter will appreciate the drop back down in trip.
