        Verdict

        Wishful landed a much better race here a year ago and was having her first start since August when unplaced in February so should be better for the run. Tinsel Town Queen, a winner at Golden Gate in March, returned to winning ways at Las Alamitos a month later when she had Time For Ebby behind. SONGOFTHEDESERT scored over 6f at Golden Gate in February then led for a long way before weakening when tackling an extra half-furlong on this track so gets the vote to make all. Silk From Heaven and Stormin Ranger both have chances in a wide-open claimer.
