      PIECEDERESISTANCE was placed in all four starts on the Flat when trained by Andre Fabre. A winner over a mile as a two-year-old, it’s worth taking a chance that he takes to hurdling in a weak opener. Monjules, another French import, has already run seven times over timber and will be hoping to make the most of his experience. Sisu and Shamrock Wine were both beaten a long way behind Genuflex here on debut.
