Verdict

Just Call Me Al could only manage fourth when favourite here last month but still finished 14 lengths ahead of the returning Kauto D'amour. He’d beaten THE BLAME GAME by 21 lengths at the track earlier but the latter was stopped in his tracks by a faller that day and, better off at the weights, could turn the tables. Coup De Gold is proving hard to place but Geromino won over 2m at Uttoxeter and placed over this trip at Catterick in March so looks a threat to all.
