    Verdict

Lord of The Land and Laazim Afooz both have claims if able to reproduce their best form but this should be between Cromwell and Grate Deel, who finished second and third respectively behind Borzov at Market Rasen last month and the latter is taken to reverse running there. Only a short head separated the two at the Lincolnshire venue but, as the reins broke on Sue Smith's gelding between the last two fences, he is the selection today. Unable to dominate that day, Dominic Elsworth may be able to get to the front here and, off a handy mark, he looks the one to be on. Laazim Afooz is well enough treated to take a hand but has been off since March and may be in need of the run, while Lord Of The Land has been gradually rising in the handicap after several placed efforts. Jumbo's Dream is worthy of a mention but this is best left to Grate Deel, who gets the vote.
