Verdict
A great opportunity here for Gatorade to complete a hat-trick on his seasonal reappearance, with Karo De Vindecy and Sweet Auburn others to consider. Gatorade has conditions to suit here. A confirmed fast ground lover, he jumped well for wins in small races both here over course and distance and at Southwell last summer. He does have a tendency to burst blood vessels, which may be why he has been off the track since, but clearly Richard Guest feels he has him ready to run and if he has held anything like his form he should be too good. Karo De Vindecy stayed on well to beat Dragon King here last time out and is due to go up 11lb very soon. With plenty in his favour again he is expected to show up well, but may not have the ability of the selection and is just passed over. Sweet Auburn is coming down the weights and runs off a mark here from which he has gone well in defeat in the past. However, recent outings have not been that encouraging, but in a race where few make much appeal he might be up to taking home some prize money, but for the selection we will side with Gatorade.
