Verdict

Mr Red Clubs has won five times on Polytrack and easily had the highest rating of these on the Flat. That's not always a reliable guide over timber, however, and there must be a doubt about him staying the trip under NH Rules as he's yet to race beyond 1m1f. INDEPUB's pedigree hardly screams stamina but he didn't do a lot wrong when second at Stratford last week and looks the one to beat here if Jason Maguire can delay his challenge. Pearl Catcher was second at Hexham in June but was a long way behind stable companion Forster Street over 2m on the Flat at Beverley in July and the latter looks a better long-term prospect over hurdles. Fine Kingdom, another Beverley winner this summer, may be best of the rest.
