Our Thomas was only worn down close home at Wetherby last month and will probably try and make all again here. But this is a stiffer track and he’s 4lb higher. Three of these are previous course and distance winners but Card Game remains out of sorts and Jokers And Rogues hasn’t run since November. DARK AND DANGEROUS fell here last time but his earlier victories at the track have worked out well and, despite looking high enough in the weights now, Simon Waugh’s charge is taken to get back on the winning trail. The Character will enjoy the ground and could be the danger.
