Verdict

ECLAT DE STAR made a winning start on soft going in a bumper in France last year and now wears the McManus colours as he debuts over hurdles for Jonjo O'Neill. He may prove good enough with O'Neill Jr taking 5lb off his back. Ettila De Sivola also made a winning debut when landing a bumper at Doncaster and the grey is a half-brother to a smart winning hurdler in France while Emma Lamb looked like winning a bumper here in October until veering and unseating her rider in the closing stages when clear of the field. Thosedaysaregone and Dew Pond have hurdling experience though neither have threatened so far.
