Verdict

A low class but competitive handicap chase where Reasonably Sure, Shuilmin and Best Accolade appear the three to concentrate on and we will give the vote to Shuilmin. Versatile in terms of distance, Shuilmin was a good winner last month over the course, that being over 3m 3f. This is a big drop back but he is proven over shorter trips, albeit on easier surfaces. In an event where winning form is short on offer, he has showed real consistency throughout the winter months and he is the pick. Reasonably Sure has more on his plate here compared to the maiden chase which he landed over course and distance last time. That win was achieved at the thirteenth time of asking but 2 1/2 miles does appear his optimum trip. Best Accolade has to be respected hailing from these quarters and put in his best outing to date over 2m last time, a trip that appeared far too short for him. The extended four furlongs will suit but he needs to step up again. Day Du Roy could provide each way value for supporters but is exposed I'm Your Man is from a stable that do very well with their limited firepower and races off a mark 20lb lower than his last winning hurdles mark. Shuilmin get the vote to land this moderate contest but I'm Your Man should be monitored in the market.
