Verdict
Less than half of this field have previous experience over fences. ASCOT DE BRUYERE looks the pick of those as he recovered from early mistakes to stay on strongly in the closing stages when third to Volvalien over a shorter trip here 12 days ago when finishing comfortably clear of Restraint of Trade and Wolf Sword. Bishops Court may be the best of the chasing newcomers as he was placed three times over hurdles and has already won a point-to-point, though Paddy's Field is also worth a market check. Teo Vivo and Drumlee Lad are others with ability but might need this.
