In depth

Verdict

Tayzar didn’t get far at Kelso last month in a race in which Instant Replay returned to his best when finishing second. Inch Lala won over track and trip last month and was then third at Cheltenham. She was still beaten 40 lengths, however, while The Paddy Pie has climbed the weights without winning and has been racing over longer trips. OAK VINTAGE is a real course specialist and back here for the time since winning by 19 lengths in October. He has also switched to a yard in cracking form and a second at Wetherby on Boxing Day will have blown away any cobwebs.
