Verdict
Tyndarius has been set some stiff tasks in valuable and competitive handicaps of late and is the choice to take full advantage of a significant ease in grade. The son of Mandalus is well treated on a mark 4lb lower compared to his Market Rasen success last season and the first-time blinkers may help to rejuvenate the 12-year-old. Devil's Run put up his best performance over fences to date when a close runner-up at Carlisle earlier in the month. However, he is prone to making errors and may prove vulnerable against more experienced rivals on his handicap debut over fences so looks worth opposing at the likely short odds. Bellino Spirit landed a novice event over course and distance last time but doesn't look particularly well handicapped while Hombre has struggled since his wide-margin victory here in October.
