In depth

Verdict

ASHCOTT BOY obviously likes Worcester as he won twice over hurdles there last year and gained a very easy victory over fences there on Thursday. He comes here with a penalty but is still 2lb lower than his last winning mark over timber and should complete a quick double before being reassessed. So Bazaar was making his debut over fences when gaining a surprise victory over the course and distance a couple of weeks ago. He would have won more easily but for being impeded and a similar level of form should see him in the frame. The Shropshire Lad has shown virtually nothing but looks the type to do better and wouldn't be travelling from Warwickshire without good reason so could be thereabouts while Paul Webber doesn't send horses here for fun and Six One Away should be capable of improvement.
