In depth

Verdict

Jake Greenall's 7lb claim negates EXECUTIVE'S HALL's penalty for completing the hat-trick at Uttoxeter last Thursday. Given Ben Haslam's charge ran out a cosy winner, he looks capable of extending his winning run here. Mardood scored over C&D under today's rider on his penultimate start and should make another bold bid, while Cornish Castle went close here in a novices' handicap last time and could also figure. Papa Drew drops back in trip after his recent second over 2m6f at this track, but the remainder were either well beaten on their latest starts or failed to complete.
