In depth

Verdict

Imtihan gets the confident vote here with Nobodys Perfect and Newtown rating the main dangers. The selection has been in good form of late without winning but was a good second in a better race behind Fair Question. This looks easier and with the stable conditional taking off a handy 10 pounds he will be very hard to beat under conditions that suit Nobodys Perfect rates the main danger on his latest second behind Woodfood Consult but that form has since been let down and he is still a maiden so he looks worth taking on. Newtown is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Ask The Umpire but his best form is over a longer trip. Of the remainder John Forbes looks to be on a handy mark and could go well at a price but his stable are out of form and for the winner we return to Imtihan.
