In depth

Verdict

Parisienne Gale, Rainbow Tree and Caulkleys Bank look the three to concentrate on in this novices hurdle and the vote is given to the last named. The selection was a fair fourth in a better race behind Keenan's Future last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and off what looks a fair mark he is taken to score. Parisienne Gale rates the main danger on his best form but he has been slightly disappointing of late. The switch back to hurdles could revive him but at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Rainbow Tree is another that could go well on his second behind Rare Coincidence a couple of runs ago but he has since took a heavy fall and it will be hard to know if is confidence has been effected so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Itsuptoharry is on a fair mark here compared to his chasing mark but his best form is on slightly faster ground and for the winner we return to Caulkleys Bank.
