Soupy Soups had been in good form prior to his run in a handicap at Chepstow in February, winning at Wincanton and Fakenham. But it may be asking a lot of Neil Mulholland’s charge to expect him to give 13lb to THISONETIME. A bumper winner, he’s only found one too good in his last two starts over timber and the extra half-mile here should not be much of an inconvenience. It will be a surprise if any of the remaining trio are good enough.
