    Verdict

BASFORD LASS shaped up nicely on debut last time out and was runner up at 66 to 1, but we think she can land this with the main dangers likely to be Last of The Bunch and Give A Lot. Jennie Candlish and Alan O'Keeffe team up for their only interest on the card, and the experience gained from the first run in soft going at Newbury could prove invaluable. It does represent a step up in trip though. Alan Swinbank's bumper runners should always be respected, although it's the first time we've seen joint bottom weight Last of The Bunch, and she could be absolutely anything. Give A Lot has got the experience of a couple of runs, including runner up sot last time in a similar event, albeit on a faster surface. The booking of Graham Lee is a positive. Market support for any of the newcomers should be noted, but in the absence of much form, we're happy to side with Basford Lass.
