Formwatch
How Ran On (IRE) Formerly trained in Ireland, winner of a couple of handicap chases in 1999. Stiff task off this weight.
Pentland Squire Often runs quite well here, and not too badly treated at best but was well down the field on latest start at Catterick. May be best watched.
Borehill Joker Comes here on a hat-trick and is definitely on the upgrade. Could still be ahead of the handicapper and watch for him pouncing on the run-in.
Squandamania Front running course specialist who was not disgraced at Catterick on latest outing and should have every chance again back on favourite course
First Light Made all to beat Squandamania here in November, but has been largely disappointing since then and far from certain to uphold that form.
Jack Flush (IRE) Improved effort to win a seller at Catterick on latest start, but this is more competitive and will do well to follow up.
Kingfisher Gold (IRE) Lightly raced but pulled up on only start this season, admittedly in a better race at Wetherby. May need the run.
Gem of Holly Course winner but well behind Jack Flush on only start this season and unlikely to reverse the form
Damien's Choice (IRE) Very poor form over fences this season, including with the visor and this return to hurdles unlikely to make a difference.
