          Anticles (FR) From the Ian Williams stable that boasts a near-40% strike-rate at the course; yard won last year's renewal; one to respect.

          Pur Tresor (FR) Ex-French import who was facing an impossible task against the useful Tysou (winner of a much better race next time) on his British debut at Catterick; will do better in due course.
