Verdict

Kauto Riko is on a hat-trick and fancied to confirm Catterick running with Tomkevi, despite carrying a penalty. But OLIVER’S GOLD can race off a 6lb lower mark than over fences so it might be worth taking a chance on Mark Walford’s consistent sort ahead of Bell Weir, who got nowhere near when favourite at Catterick. Brave Spartacus has his first run for a new yard and his first start since June.
