Roxyfet bids for a sixth course victory but only one of those wins has come over hurdles and over a shorter trip, though he’s 9lb lower now. ANGE DES MALBERAUX won over course and distance off this mark back in 2016. He is a bit hit-and-miss but ran well enough over a longer trip at Musselburgh month to suggest he’ll take all the beating in a race like this. Adherence showed a bit more at Catterick last month and was a stayer on the Flat so the extra half-mile is probably in his favour. Malpreedy probably ran her best race so far at Southwell earlier this month but she doesn’t look an easy ride.
