      Verdict

      SPORTING PRESS’ career has taken off since he switched to fences. He has been raised a further 5lb since scoring at Kelso but should complete the hat-trick if in the same mood. Civil Unrest keeps churning out performances at this level, despite advancing years, but was beaten by Middlebrow at Kelso in the autumn. Fair Loch has been showing signs of a revival so can’t be dismissed out of hand.
