In depth

Verdict

Newbay Lady, Caipiroska and Mystic Glen look the main protagonists in this handicap chase and the narrow vote is given to Newbay Lady. The selection had every chance until falling last time out, she remains on a fair mark and in the hope that her confidence has not been effected she looks the value bet. Caipiroska rates the main danger as he beat Eriskay with plenty in hand last time but the suspicion is he may bounce and he is taken on with this in mind. Mystic Glen is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder Wee William has conditions to suit but may just need the run after a 246 day absence and for the winner we return to Newbay Lady.
