In depth

Verdict

Sam Thomas’ string is in fantastic form and DOBRYN breezed to the front at Hereford and quickly went clear. Jordan Nailor’s claim takes care of a big chunk of his penalty and it will be a surprise if he can’t see off course and distance third Cheeky Ches and Tardree, beaten 20 lengths on his debut under Rules here last month. Northern Falcon has a nice jumping pedigree but his yard’s runners often need the experience.
