Verdict

Tiptoeaway ran a lot better at Market Rasen in November than he had on his hurdling debut at Carlisle and is probably open to further improvement. But this may be best left to CHARMINSTER, who found only Whoops A Daisy too good on his hurdling bow at Hereford earlier this month and will know more today. Howard Johnson's newcomer Quelle Chance may do better when tackling fences, while Arrow Barrow and Shan Blue would probably prefer a bit further. Middlebrook was sent off favourite for a bumper at Newcastle in November but never threatened and has a bit to prove here.
